This is by far the best iPod speaker system I've tried. The wireless speakers blow away the competition. I've tried wireless speakers from Sony and they kept getting weak signals. The best thing about this system is the various input and output devices. I currently have the system hooked up to my desktop computer as computer speakers when I'm not playing music off my ipod. Plus, you can hook they system up to your TV to play video from your ipod, component and S-video. The remote working off of RF technology is key too, letting you forget about any obstacles or wally between you and the base. I'd give this 10 stars if I could.

This was a great product, and I enjoyed it very much. Unfortunately I only enjoyed it for under a year when it simply stopped working.
If it had lasted I would given it 5 stars in a heart beat. Great while it lasted.
The best sound August 15, 2008
Wow! I've been reviewing ipod speaker systems for a while because I got a rotton one as a gift (ihome - don't buy it!), but I picked this one up at Best Buy. I didn't get the best price there, but wow! the sound is so incredible!! Just pure, nice base sound, it absolutely rocks. NO annoying buzz or bleedback from the radio channel (you know who i'm talking about iHome). I also like the little remote, which I only use to turn the unit on and off mostly, so it's adequate for me. It did come with a dead battery, but that's easy enough to replace. Took just five minutes to set up, and very easy to operate. I'll say it again -- wow, wow, wow!! Buy this unit. You will not be sorry!
Amazing Griffin Technology August 2, 2008
This item is amazing. Not only does it sound great for the size of the speakers but the speakers are wireless and go anywhere in my house. What's even more amazing about this system is that the remote control can be used anywhere in the house and IT STILL WORKS!!!!
Griffin is coming out with Add Ons that can be synced to this particular speaker system. so you can place more speakers throughout your home and not have to worry about wires. It's great for apartments that have no hllow walls or if your renting you do not want to invest in the time nor money to snake wires throughout your home.
I think this technology is amazing and bravo to Griffin Technology for making something sensible for the iPod as well as Sirius Satellite radio or even home theaters.

This product is cutting edge in terms of performance, practicality and looks. It's CLASS 1 transmitter allows listening in ANY room in my 2 story/4 bed house as well as the backyard and frontyard. I have the base set up on the 2nd floor in the middle of the house. I also own the Sharper Image SR297/298 and they have about 60% the range as the Griffins and don't have an internal Li-Ion battery that lasts 12-14 hours. The sound is top notch with a usable frequency response down to around 80HZ . The final iceing on the cake is the class 1 radio frequency remote control that allows control of your docked ipod from approx. 100 meters! I'm planning on buying 2 more Griffin speakers and patching them in to my current system. The base can handle a total of 8 Griffins at one time! I've researched the handful of wireless speakers out there I can't recommend these babies highly enough. These are the best bar none end of story!....
