fm transmitter for Ipods September 6, 2008 Perhaps this category of transmitter works in a rural or suburban environment. In a city, NYC to be specific, it is unusable. There are no locations on the FM dial which do not have static.
Good product September 6, 2008 I bought this item because the CD player in my car died, and I wanted more than just the radio to listen to. It works well, and I've had no trouble getting it to transmit onto almost any station. Like some of the other reviewers pointed out, there is sound distortion, but that's to be expected when it's being transmitted like this. Overall, a good product!
fuzzy- not worth the $$ September 6, 2008 All ipod adapter/transmitters have lower quality sound -- but this more expensive model with more choices for signal channel has even lower quality sound. My old adapter ($15) only had 3 channels but much better quality. The other issue is if you live in any metropolitan area there are not really any empty channels on FM. This unit is not strong enough to override even the weakest signal.
love it September 3, 2008 This is the first I've ever purchased of the kind, and I've got no complaints. Actually, I love it.
Great! Fast Shipping! September 3, 2008 Ordered this item as a gift and it was here way before it has to be given. Great!!
