 not working properly then stopped working altogether January 8, 2009
Like the previous reviewer said, the device plugs don't stay in the sockets.
Mine stopped working after just a few weeks. Called technical support, who asked me to send it back for replacement. Maxell does not provide return shipping. Not worth the hassel and mailing cost. Have to buy a new one, but this time won't be maxell.
BTW, only 90-day warranty.

I wouldn't recommend this product. The device plugs don't stay in the sockets. I have had bad luck with this one and would not purchase it again. The previous one I bought from Radio Shack was better.

I recently purchase a GPS, and could no longer use my FM transmitter unless I wanted to charge my GPS at night (I drive a lot for work). This adapter allows me to have both plugged in at once without any difficulty.
Other reviewers mentioned that they had problems with the springs pushing out adapters, but I haven't had that problem at all! This actually works better than my car's plug, which often pushed out my other chargers. No more wiggling wires as I drive.
I also drive a stick and have no problems with the adapter getting in the way, although I was anticipating that I might, given the hefty size. I guess it depends on your car's set-up.

May be a good product, but it would not even fit into my '08 Hyundai Sonata.

did not fit in the lighters of two different vehicles. had to take it apart and file down the plastic.
