 Fits Everywhere October 20, 2008
I had only a thin space to put shelf in. On the right side I molding/trim from window on left from fireplace. I could not use anything were the glass pressed against the wall because of the molding. On the Vantage Point the glass shelves are attached to the metal bar that sticks out a little over an inch from contact with the wall (glass shelves do not touch the wall.) You can also rotate the shelves left and right. You will be able to fit this unit in places others won't. You can get the detail specs of this shelving unit on company website. The unit itself is elegant looking. The glass shelves are more compact then that of the other units I looked at.

I received the item in a timely manner. It was exactly as discribed. It fits well with my componets and the swivel makes it easier to get behind the compents to connect wires etc. The only draw back were the two molded end caps which one is suppose to slid on the top of the bar and the other on the bottom it's more for decortive purposes. It doesn't fit very well tends to fall off. You've got to kind of catch it right in order to try to snap it on, it's not easy but it'll be fine but you really can leave them off and it's looks just find. . Otherwise this is a good product with easy installation instuctions, really simply and easy. If you have a home theater system as I do, the shelf be a bit longer as the home theater receiver is longer than the shelf it hangs over slightly but it works out fine.

Perfect.
Construction is solid, easy to install (you need a stud !) and it looks very nice. Shelves are very stable. I could not be more satisfied with the product.

The wall mount works on the basis of mounting directly to a stud. The hardware is complete and effective. Once assembled, the shelves can swivel slightly to allow you access to the rear of the components and wiring. It is study and clean looking and one of the best wall mounts I found out there. I units I have on this wall mount are the surround sound/receiver from Pioneer, cable box and DVD player. I placed the receiver on the middle shelf and made sure to have 8" to 9" clearance from the upper shelf to allow for proper cooling.

Other reviewers are right. Even when it is in the stud, it swivels from side to side. Other than that, it looks good. Still hard to hide all the wires.
