Here's the truth... November 28, 2008 Okay, this is an inexpensive wireless headphone set, so it'll work for this specific purpose... IF you want cheap low range use it may work for ya. The range with this is MAX of 12 ft and sounds like so so mono quality. If you expect better, you WILL be disappointed. That being said, if 12- feet is okay, it might be okay for ya. The headset IS comfortable so if you will be CLOSE and are okay with so so mono-ish quality, this IS an okay option for the money. I gots a wild kiddie and just trying to hear sports from a smaller TV in kitchen so it IS working okay for me!
waste of $$$ September 22, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Don't waste you hard earned dollars on this - it nearly gets a clear sound when you stand with your head cocked just the right way - ONLY while standing right next to it. I guess you do have the option to get a backback and carry the cords, receiver, stand, music source, ect with you - but why? Also.... the battery cover broke while loading the batteries the first time ( duck tape fixed that ).
Not the senders fault - just crappily made.
Pass on anything Sentry February 25, 2008 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought 2 pr of H1000 headphones. Didn't buy from here and am returning tomorrow, but I will post this review everywhere I can. I have never had such a poor customer service experience in my life. When I get great service, I overtip, or talk the manager and tell him how pleasant my experience was with the CS rep, etc. A lot of people work in retail and customer service. Some bad, some good. I get that. But you can't only gripe about the bad. I balance it both ways. I walk away feeling good and so does the CS rep, and the manager.
2-3 emails at most and here is the last from a "VP" in the company. I mean obviously she better grow a tougher hide if she can't take a bit of heat, but good grief. Read below. Opinions welcomed.
Please do not contact our company any further. If you are unsatisfied with a product, return it. But do not contact us. Based on the below email the help you require is not within our realm of expertise.

Okay, thanks James! Great, yet utterly useless info. Like mastercard, your response is priceless! If you remember correctly, my first email said, "I am tech savvy" and then I gave detailed, precise 123 descrip of what I had done as product instructions, to show I was no idiot. YOUR REPSONSE, to quote: You can only use one transmitter per household.
Cutting a bunch of useless info but I guess this got them whacked:
I have been PC savvy for 23 years, pre-windows. I was probably using computers before you were out of diapers. Cut me a break. Men and tech. Unreal.
Anyway, all done, anytime I see Sentry, I will come back here, cut and paste this review.
Okay, off to find a decent pair of wireless headphones that actually work.
Works only with Fresh Batteries! December 28, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is a good product for the price, AS LONG AS YOU HAVE A FRESH 9V IN THE TRANSMITTER. It does not come with batteries- I will bet that those reviewers who complain of static "out of the box" scrounged a partly-used battery from something else. The transmitter devours 9v's quickly, and as the battery drains the headphones start to buzz and static. With a fresh battery, they are perfect- my TV is upstairs, and I can go downstairs and fix a sandwich and still hear perfectly. But, the transmitter really needs an ac adapter.
Also, on a TV with multiple sound outputs, it will only work for the output you attach it to.
