has great sound quality and can be very loud. def worth the price. the only drawback is that it has to be plugged in to an outlet (isnt portable). but if you dont mind that, its a good buy!

This is a great product and and sounds great in my bedroom and kitchen. I wouldn't use it for a party or anything but for what I use it for, I love it. Good enough that I no problem recommending it to others.
Excellent Sound, Great Value, simple to use November 24, 2008
Bought this for my wife to use at work in her office. She was always forgetting to charge her ipod and didn't like headphones while having to answer her phone often. this charging station/speaker unit filled the bill nicely! I paid under $50.00 for this compared to others costing 2 and 3 times as much. Takes no time to setup and enjoy. even has a remote control so the unit can be mounted up and out of the way, but you still have full control of it. Very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend!

Great sound, looks very nice with my blak ipod, and I can connect it to my laptop as well, wich is a nice plus for those who watch movies or shows on their pc. I'm very happy with it, but I bought it for just 50 bucks, i don't know if I'd buy it for $150 thou... But either way, it gives very crisp and relatively loud sound for its size...
Good Quality, Too Much Bass November 22, 2008
This is a well made compact speaker system. The sound is powerful and it is easy to use. Overall, I'm happy with it.
My one complaint is that I bought this system as a quieter complement to my stereo and it is dominated by the bass at lower volume levels. In fact when the volume is low, all you can hear from any distance is the thud of the bass.
Edit: I noticed in another review that the bass may be reduced by turning the EQ setting on your iPod to "Off." This doesn't eliminate the dominance of the bass entirely, but it helps. I also noticed that turning the Sound Check to "On," also makes a difference.
