Best sound in a portable DVD player August 13, 2008 Most portable DVD players are great for watching movies...the problem is you can't hear the movie - outside car noise or AC window units drown them out. But not this little guy - GREAT sound, and the pic's good too - plus the whole thing isn't much bigger than the DVD itself -so it's highly portable. I only wish the battery lasted longer.
DEAD IN LESS THAN 3 WEEKS !!! August 6, 2008 Bought as a replacement for an earlier model that functioned for nearly three years. This one quit working well under one month. Seller was of no help with refund, repair, or replacement.
Battery Dead After Four Months July 28, 2007 I did what the others said to do when I first got this for my son. After watching a full length feature dvd with it plugged in, I shut it off and unplugged it. At first the battery lasted 5 hours. It was great! But it started to hold less and less of a charge. Now it won't hold a charge at all no matter what we do. It will still work on dc but I needed this for my son's 1 1/2 hour bus ride to school, and he cannot plug into any outlet on the bus, so we're back to square one in finding him a durable dvd player for that long ride.
hand held dvd product February 8, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Cumbersome to use, but good quility picture and fair sound. Can attach it to a TV for a larger picture. I however use it rarely because I now use my vedio IPOD which can do more with much better quality for home, and offsite program displays for differant organization.

player review January 17, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I like this model of player for ease of use for younger children, in fact it is the second one I have purchased. But I cannot rate it as high as I would like due to the fact that both players have had problems with the "door" getting too loose and it then will not signal the DVD to start playing. I have remedied this by holding it closed with a clear elastic band. A big pain. They need to make a better latch.
