Product Description Simplify your communications with this lightweight and versatile headset. You'll enjoy all-day wearing comfort, clearer voice transmission and superior sound quality - without wires! And with the optional Deskphone Adapter, your headset transforms into a powerful communication solution for both your office and mobile phone.
Amazon.com Product Description For the ultimate in wireless freedom, look no further than the Plantronics Voyager 510 Bluetooth Headset, which represents a generational leap in Bluetooth headset technology. The 510 is comfortable and light enough for all day wear, and it offers unprecedented clarity and sound quality. These are great features, but the real revolution involves Plantronics' exclusive "Multipoint" technology, which allows the headset to function as a powerful communication solution for up to two Bluetooth devices. With Multipoint technology you can switch between your voice-enabled Bluetooth mobile phone, PDA or laptop. The headset's "smart" technology knows which device you are using and allows you to take calls from any device at the touch of a button. With the optional Plantronics Bluetooth Deskphone Adapter you can even switch between your office phone and your Bluetooth mobile phone. You'll never need to use a dedicated "landline" phone headset again. The 510 features a noise-canceling microphone for clearer conversations, and it folds for easy storage. The boom also swivels for perfect positioning on either ear. One-touch call control buttons are placed for easy access, and you can easily redial the last number dialed and initiate voice-activated calls from the headset. Because the 510 is Bluetooth-enabled (it supports the Bluetooth 1.2 specification) you can roam up to 33 feet from your Bluetooth device. Meanwhile, the 510 supports adaptive frequency hopping (AFH) which helps avoid interference from wi-fi networks. Ample talk time is provided by the built-in rechargeable battery; you'll get up to 6 hours talk time and up to 100 hours of standby time.

Love it! October 11, 2008 Love it, love it, love it. It works great. Nothing else needed to say.
Purchased to use with PS3 October 10, 2008 I bought this for my son to use with PS3. I was wondering whether it would fit him, he's on the small side but the interchangeable pieces work great for a customer fit and the whole piece fits on his small ear perfectly. It fits me too. PS3 had no trouble connecting. The thing last all day long on a charge and will charge quickly. The specs say it will work up to 33 feet away from the PS3 and we have no trouble using it in the entire first floor meaning you can get up from the PS3 room and walk into the kitchen and living room and still have a good connection. It also works with the Verizon LG Chocolate cell phone very well.
3 things you must know about Voyager 510 October 9, 2008 Let me cut to the chase. 1. Others may say that this piece does not fit into the pocket. I beg to differ. It swivels at two points and fits a 2D plane. It comfortably fits into my shirt pocket without bulging my pocket. 2. Remember this is a blue tooth device. Yet, I experience good clarity and reception up to 20 feet away from my BlackBerry. 3. I read in one of the reviews that rated the talk time between recharge to be low. I'm almost always on calls. I have been recharging my headset once in 4 days. My average talk time per day is around 2 to 3 hours on the headset. The only thing that could've been better is the on/off switch. It is tiny and slightly hard to press when you wear it. I give a "thumbs up" to this product.
Washed and Dried and Still Works Great! October 9, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is definitely one of the most satisfying electronic purchases I have made in quite a while, especially considering the price(I just had to give it 5 stars for the quality & price). The sound quality is great and those on the other end of my phone conversations hear me clearly. Most of those who I talk to on the phone cannot tell I am using a bluetooth device while I am using it.
The battery life is great. I can use it with my cellphone for a least a couple of hours, not charge it for a few days and still able to pick it up and use it for another lenghty conversation afterwards.
So here is another big reason I just had to give it 5 stars: I mistakenly left it in my pants pockets while during my laundry so I sent this device through a full wash and dry cycle! I was heartbroken when I discovered my error but I immediately turned the device on and began using it again with no problems. That was almost two months ago and it still works great!
Two minor gripes I have about the device is its bulky size and when I am talking under my air conditioner some can hear the noise from the AC blowing into the device (so much for noise cancellations). But, again, these are minor gripes and for the price, you can't ask for much more!
Very Decent Quality, I must say. October 9, 2008 The Plantronics is a decent headset for the price. I have used 2 Motorola headsets, and after using a Plantronics telephone headset at my office and liking it, I decided to get the Plantronics 510 Bluetooth for my cell. Compared to the Motorola, it sounds better on my end--good volume. Folks on the other end say it sounds better than my Moto--especially in noisy environments, like the car. Very decent battery life--very good, in fact. I like that they include different size foam ear pieces so that you can get it positioned with your ear, just right.
Cons: after a couple of hours, it gets a little uncomfortable. And, it doesn't fold up, so it's a little awkward trying to carry it in a pocket. And, why must the light flash?--there's got to be a way to turn off the light--I just haven't looked into it. My Moto is the same way.
All in all, a good value.
