'I chose the title 'Decode' because the song is about the building tension, awkwardness, anger and confusion between Bella and Edward. Bella is the only mind Edward can't read and I feel like that's a big part of the first book and one of the obstacles for them to overcome. The "Twilight" CD is an excellent companion to a great film, and also a great stand-alone collection of music. The songs are a mix of electronic/indie/alternative rock, and for the most part, they're all pretty fantastic. Highlights include the pulsating "Supermassive Black Hole," the powerful "Decode," and the gentle "Flightless Bird, American Mouth." I was also pleased to discover that the theme "Bella's Lullaby," my favorite melody from the "Twilight" score, is included on the soundtrack as well. I am very pleased with this CD.

I love all of the songs and listening to them reminds me of the books all over again. The song by Robert Pattinson makes me absolutely swoon even though I'm a Jacob fan :P

 Cheap Pop/Rock Garbage December 2, 2008
I really expected a lot more from a soundtrack to a movie that presents itself as a modern day romeo and juliet love story. The music is so bland and completely void of any passion and emotion that it culminates into mere background noise. Even the remix of the Linking Park song sounds soft and bland. The one exception is the lead track by Paramore. Otherwise, it's just a whole CD of BLAH!! The perfect example of a soundtrack for a movie about star-crossed lovers, filled with passion/anger/love/torture/vulnerabilty/etc is 1996's soundtrack to Romeo & Juliet directed by Baz Luhrmann. Let's hope they get a clue for the following series of Bella and Edwards flicks.
