Product Description The KX-TS500B is a good basic telephone that will give you clear sound with a 5-step volume control. The space saving and desk/wall mount convertible design will suit any location in your home or office.
Amazon.com Product Description The KX-TS500B from Panasonic is a basic corded phone designed for users who don't need a lot of bells and whistles. A corded phone with single line operation, the KX-TS500B is call waiting compatible (requires a subscription) and requires no batteries to operate. Handset and ringer volume controls allow you to adjust levels to your liking, and you can switch between tone and pulse dialing modes. A redial button lets you quickly dial the last outgoing number, while the flash button provides access to call waiting. The KX-TS500B is wall-mountable, allowing you to keep countertop space free from unnecessary clutter, and comes backed with a one-year limited warranty. Hang It on a Wall to Free Up Desk Space This phone system can be hung on a wall to free up desk or counter space. This is especially helpful in kitchens or offices, where desk and counter space is at a premium. Redial at the Push of a Button With just the push of a button you can conveniently call back the last number you dialed. 5 stars, for the product within its own class November 6, 2008 I bought this phone becuase I tired of chasing a cordless around, and running out of battery power when using the cordless. I was looking for something without any features other than being able to dial out, and talk!
After we used it for a few months I bought another one. They have worked without any problems at all and the sound quality is so much better than our cordless phones, and the corded phone we had before these. For $15, this is a great phone and a phone this basic is becoming difficult to find, even at place like Wal-Mart.
For those looking for a phone with no features beyond placing and receiving calls (no caller ID with this one), I recommend this phone.
perfected technology October 24, 2008 what can I say this is a corded wall mountable phone with no screen. this is tech that has been perfected for decades. if Panasonic one of the best players out there couldn't pull this off perfectly I would be shocked. this is a basic phone that works exactly like you would expect. buy it with confidence.
Great Basic Phone May 4, 2008 I bought this phone to have as a back up for when power goes out. So obviously it doesn't require power to operate. It has no bells or whistles. No caller ID, no message waiting light, and so on. For the price you can't beat it. My only grip is the ring tone is horrible. It's a "chirp" sound and it scares my cat! I highly recommend this phone to anyone that wants a plain basic phone. Something rare these days.
An excellent basic phone. Works great and looks great. February 13, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
An excellent basic phone. Works great and looks great. It is perfect to ensure there is at least one phone in the house that works when the power goes out.
Great for power outages November 2, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
It's actually a nice phone. Didn't want features, just something to use during power outages and ended up using it as an everyday phone.
