Amazon.com Product Description The crystal-clear picture delivered by Casio's TV-970 brings you all the advantages of sitting indoors, even when you're in a hammock, at the game, on a porch swing, in the car, on a boat, or anyplace your adventures take you. The tiny device measures only 3.2 x 5.1 x 1.5 inches and weighs a mere .4 pounds (without batteries), so it's made for slipping into pockets, purses, and backpacks. The set uses a passive, 2.3-inch Ti-STN (Super Twisted Nematic) color LCD with Casio's original high-contrast design. The anti-glare screen is visible in both daylight and darkness, and a handy audio/video input accommodates external sources like a DVD player, VCR, camcorder, digital camera, or game console. Auto tuning means you'll never have to wait for a new channel to load, and reception ranges from VHF (channels 2 to 13) to UHF (channels 14 to 69). The unit sports its own built-in rod antenna, a single top-mounted speaker, and a monaural (single-ear) earphone jack for private listening. You'll enjoy about 4.5 hours of use on 4 AA batteries (not included), or you can power the TV-970 with an optional AC/DC power adapter. The set may also be used with Casio's vehicle power adapter (model CAK65). What's in the Box TV, user's manual, and warranty information.

Don't Waste Your Money April 29, 2008 This handheld tv has terrible reception. I could not get any picture for a steady amount of time. The picture looked dark and wavered constantly. And I was using it in the city. I know that the area I was in has good tv signals so I would say that the handheld was the problem. I even tried it outdoors and still the same result. Just about the only good thing about this tv is that it looks great. Unfortunately the picture, which is the most important thing, does not.
Cool little TV December 14, 2006 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
My wife bought this for me and I have been taking it with me to work and when I go tailgating. This is a great gift for the sports fan since you can just put it in your pocket.
