 Tape recorder for my preteen June 15, 2008
perfect for studying bar mitzvah tapes.
It has a counter know where to go back or forward to any spot.
It can plug in the wall for home use.
It can run on batteries to take to camp.

this item lasted about two weeks before losing all audible sound with or without earphones and despite frequent cleanings. certainly expected better quality from sony. not worth the shipping to return it, nor would i want another.

sorry but this product (needed for educ. tapes) could not accept a cassette. Returned to Sony service and told couldn't be repaired. Since it's not a popular item replacement not available. They promised to send us a check but since we've made other plans don't need a replacement.

Works great. I bought one for my friend and she loves it. She uses it nearly everyday.

I needed this item to listen to my guitar teacher's lessons that she recorded for me. I am very happy with the item. It even has a counter so you can see where a desired location is on the tape. I know this is old school, but I am so glad this unit was available. It sounds very clear and has enough volume for even poorly recorded tapes.
