It works March 30, 2008 This is a good little clock for the price. It has two different alarm settings which is nice. I am happy with this purchase.
Distinct pros and cons March 21, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Pros: dual alarm either music or buzzer Nice nap feature Easy to set Adjustable brightness of digital display Nice sound when it's coming through clear
Cons: If you choose the buzzer wakeup option, it's too loud The knobs to adjust volume, lowest level is too loud It's not easy to get a clear channel and once you do, it doesn't stay that way.
This alarm clock has potential with a few tweaks by the manufacturer. It's probably worth $10.
Just what we needed March 4, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Has all the functions we needed and wanted, without unnecessary complicating extras. Particularly, we love the dual alarms, nap function, and that the alarm starts out soft and gets louder. Also, we can see the time from across the room now - we couldn't with our old one. It's simple and not too big. Assuming it continues to work (we've had it about a month), I'd highly recommend it! We have tried fancier clocks of different brands and they always end up unreliable after just a few months (alarm never going off, phantom alarms, numbers unreadable, etc.), so I'm all about cheaper with only the features I want so the additional features don't mess up the rest of the clock. One negative - we put a battery in it, the power went out, and it did not reset itself afterward. But none of our other clocks seemed to either, so I'll still stick with this one.
Exactly what I wanted March 2, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This clock is easy to set and has several sleep functions such as nap and snooze. The best function is the graduate alarm volume that starts soft and gets louder with time; an essential function for parents with sleeping toddlers!
Less is more: The Perfect Alarm Clock February 23, 2008 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I have been looking for a good clock for years, and found this here. Here is what I like about it: * Large numbers readable from the other side of the bed without lighting up the room. * The indispensable nap function (absent on many higher models). * Simple styling does not add to or alter decor. * Easy to set without 15 buttons like my last clock. * Any button works as snooze. What is special about a 9-minute snooze? * Gradual alarm volume starts soft and increases over time, no more fire-alarms! * Two independent alarms to avoid resetting for a special wake-up time. * The radio tunes well and sounds adequate, but who wants to fall asleep or wake up to jarring commercials? * The price! $10 on amazon is a great value.
This is perfect to use as an alarm. If you want a sound system to play music, consider a separate sound system, but still use this as your alarm.
