Better than an IPOD November 12, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This product is EXCELLENT! I used to own an IPOD and had constant problems with it and the software but so far I have had no complaints about the Zune. It is a great buy!
good stuff November 11, 2008 I was thinking about getting an Ipod since i have a macbook pro, but I think the zune was a better choice used or not. I know a person who has a zune now for 3 years with no problems, and I know a handful of people with Ipods who's changed or had to fix them every other month. The zune has a lot of great features and the best one to me is the radio especially since i live in New York.
Zune vs. other mp3/ipods November 11, 2008 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is the worst possible music player I have ever used. I bought one for my niece for Christmas last year. It has been sent back to the company 5 times for repairs. It either locks up and will not shut down or you can't reformat it. If you are lucky enough to get it reformatted, after listening for about 30 minutes it does the same thing. This last time it quit working, it locked up; the screen went completely black and it would not work at all. I didn't even bother calling the company again. I will never buy one again.
not impressed November 4, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
i wanted to be impressed with this product. so far, it's been more annoying to me than anything. it is simple to use, but at the same time it's complicated. it feels like the zune is supposed to think for me, but it's so slow that i'd much rather think for myself. i have to wait for the zune to figure out that i've downloaded new music. i have to continually hit sync and sometimes it only recognizes some of the new music. i'd love it to sync automatically, which i think is what it's supposed to do, or have the choice to drag and drop files. and what's up with the zune points for music purchase? i still have to buy the points, why i can't i just buy the music for the dollar amount? i feel like i'm at a carnival with this thing. i think it's rather idiotic. once the music is downloaded to my zune, everything is fine. i wish i could choose what music i wanted to shuffle vs. the all or nothing option. i just wanted an mp3 player with enough memory for all my tunes and an easy way to make playlists. i should have done more research. next time i'll go with some off brand that does what it's supposed to do without trying to be cool.
The Zune Is The Only One November 3, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have had my zune for a year and I have to say; I Am Impressed. I work in an extremely dusty enviroment and the zune is the best. I have done the 80gb hard drive swap and can store all my fave clips, movies, and library of music. I never got used to the squircle of the zune 80 and have always loved the 30s build, feel, and user interface. Nothing compares with a zune with the 3.0 firmware. Nothing. Absolutely the BEST hard drive based personel media player out there.
