Perfect portable DVD player! November 11, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
this player is wonderful. Not a lick of problems but for the ear phones. I had to invest in a better set as the ones that come with the player are shotty.
decent performance, poor design September 13, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This player has two drawbacks, short battery life, (50 minutes), and limited control without the remote.
The local controls would be adequate IF the stupid machine didn't always launch with the English subtitles on. You must have the remote to turn them off. Very inconvenient when trying to watch a movie on a plane, but then, it's worthless on a plane since the battery only lasts less than an hour anyway. (What WERE they thinking?!!) Hey, its a Coby, you get what you pay for.

Cheap! August 19, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have had this DVD player just 6 weeks and it has already quit working. It will read the disc but the screen has went out! I have only used it 5 or 6 times.
Great buy... And for the price how could you go wrong? August 16, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I spent $150 on a Toshiba 2 years ago and was OK with it. I never had problems with it at all until my neighbors kid got ahold of it and broke it. (I guess thats what happens when you pour kool-aid in it).
I decided I would buy something cheaper for the reasons of my needs for a portable DVD player and I didnt want to spend much. I decided to go with the TFDVD7005 due to the price at first, but I am sooo happy I got it.
Not only does it come with everything you need but the picture is great and the sound is just loud enough to where I dont have to ask myself what they said on the DVD I am watching.
The unit does feel a bit chincy but for the price... You cant ask for more.
