Sansa e280 Perfect for Rockbox! August 13, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Product works great, rockbox increases functionality and the original firmware doesn't get altered so you can always boot up into default Sandisk firmware!
Nice little player August 13, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've immensely enjoyed the Sansa. It replaced a rio carbon that died which I had for years. I liked the carbon but this Sansa is light years ahead of it. I use the Sansa almost exclusively for listening to music. It holds a lot for it's size and I've also added the 2 gig micro disc to increase the capacity even more. It syncs up well with my Windows media player and it virtually never crashes (alas the poor carbon crashed fairly regularly). Great value in my opinion; no real complaints.
great for the price August 13, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
i bought this as an upgrade from my first sansa which only held 300 songs but since i never had one before it was fine for my first one. This one has everything i could want and the price was right i would say BUY ONE!
You need a firmware update August 11, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is a great product. I listen to audio books and to make it really work with them you need to download the firmware update from the manufacturer. Have heart; it is worth it. Now that I have my player updated it is GREAT!
THE WORST PRODUCT I HAVE EVER USED!! August 10, 2008 0 out of 4 found this review helpful
This product does not work with Windows XP. It crashes all of the media plans (Windows Media Player, WINAMP,...). So there is no way to synchronize your play lists. There are a lot of complaints on the Sansa forums about this, but Sansa support ignores customers. I am repeating this review for the same players with different memory sizes, hopefully to help some poor person that buys this thing.
