 Not Reliable May 13, 2008
When the Zen V Plus works, it's great, but mine has gone into a coma twice since I purchased it in January 2008. Both times, pushing the reset button didn't turn it back on. Trying to charge it didn't help either. The first time it died, I was ready to return it under warranty, but after a couple days it "woke up" (on its own) and worked fine. It just quit working again, a few days ago, and won't come out of its coma this time. I was going to return it, but found out my labor warranty expired (after 90 days) and I have to pay $25, in addition to shipping the damned thing back and insuring it. I'm not sure if it's worth paying this to get a replacement that might give me the same problems!

This MP3 player works wonderfully, delivering high quality sound and picture (video playback). I had an IPOD, and it just died on me one day, and there was nothing I could do to reset it. To reset this product, all you need is the tip of a needle to insert into a tiny hole on the player. Durable and affordable..also cute!

This is the second Zen I've owned...hope someone else is enjoying the first (lost it on a flight to San Francisco). For a non-techie like me, I find it easy to use, 2 GB is more than adequate, plays for more than 12 hours on a charge, and the radio is a plus. Interface with the computer is super easy. I can't bear the thought of a workout without it, or a hostel stay as I can drown out the snorers. Definitely recommend it for the money.

It took me a little bit of time to figure out how to use this but now that I have I am hooked! I mostly use it to download books from the library and listen during every spare minute I have - even walking from the parking lot to work (I have to park far away)! : )

I would NEVER get an Ipod!! I find Creative's products superior and easier to work with/download music to, etc. And the price is much better also!! Only downside is that so many companies have created Ipod friendly go-withs...But Creative is working on that it seems.
