Who needs an iPod? October 18, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
iPod has almost become a generic name like aspirin, but don't think that there is nothing better than an iPod for an MP3 player. The ScanDisk Sansa c250 does anything that the lower-end iPod does and much more. The Sansa is user-friendly and sounds great, just like an iPod. However, try as you might, you won't find an iPod for the price of the Sansa with an FM radio, a user-replacable battery (the iPod must be sent back to Apple), the ability to record voice and an expandable memory with the addition of a memory card. For the money you can't go wrong with the Sansa c250.
just what I was looking for October 14, 2008 This mp3 player came ready to do what I needed, just a little charging and loading my favorite music files on and it is good to go. The software that comes with it to alter the files of pictures to add to it was very user friendly. I am perfectly satisfied with it's battery life and memory space. It was just what I was looking for.
Good Product and excellent service. October 12, 2008 Good Product and excellent service. The device works straight forward like a mass storage system. For photos, you have included the required software. Do not expect High Definition on a 1" screen. This is a MP3 player, photos are good to have.
Things I wish I knew October 9, 2008 I bought this on impulse, so far so good. Don't bother downloading anything from Sansa, it doesn't work. The device however, is extremely easy to use with Windows Media Player. Just go to sync and drop and drag what you want to add to you player. Getting the music on the device was so easy I was fooled into a false sense of security. Getting it off wasn't as intuitive. You need pull up the sansa device just like you would hard drive and then delete music from there. The other concern is that in trying to find out how to delete music I saw where a lot of people have had problems with the devices "freezing up". I do have one friend that threw his in the garbage because it quit working. This is why I only gave it 3 stars. It works great for me but I'm hearing that's not the case for a whole lotta people. If you buy it good luck, you can find it pretty cheap because it's old and goes on clearance.
Good for a while... September 30, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My mom bought this for me for my birthday in 2007. It's been good until about 2 weeks ago. I had my USB setting on Auto Detect which supported folders, and now Auto Detect doesn't work on my computer so I've been forced to use the MSC or whatever which doesn't have folders. I have no problem with transferring music files (except for the mp3 or wav tags at the end of the song titles) but I can't find anything that I recorded so I can transfer it from my mp3 player to my computer. It would be good if MSC was fully covered in the pdf file they have but it's not so it's frustrating. I know a big problem I had also was that I would charge it but it seemed like the battery was uncharged even if I wasn't using it, which was just strange.
