SO sorry to anyone who read my revised review complaining about the CD changer.....IT WAS OPERATOR malfunction.....I ended up calling a real live person at Sony for support . The CD changer was not broken at all.... it turns out I just did not hold the "open/close" button down long enough........I will go back to my original 5 stars for this product for the money, now....You can even shuffle songs , so go for it..Just don't expect superior sound quality, but it really isn't bad for the kitchen.
I feel rather idiotic but better to come clean so others can benefit from my stupidity.... =))

This item was purchased for my kitchen that adjoins my deck. I was not happy blasting my stereo in the living room to hear music outside, so I purchased this undercounter Sony radio/cd player combo, the sound is terrific for its size. I am very pleased with the item.

I bought this unit to replace a Magnavox under cabinet kitchen radio that failed. This one is much better.
What I like best:
1) Ease of use
2) Sound
3) Line in for my MP3 player
4) Takes 3 CDs
5) Styling
6) Remote control
Areas of improvement:
1) Takes a little long for CDs to start playing
2) Loose all presets if you unplug it
3) AM radio reception is weak
4) Programming the presets can be a pain
5) Back light stays on even after you turn off unit. We should be able to control whether back light turn offs when unit is powered down.
As far as I know, this is one of the highest quality, most feature packed, reasonably priced under cabinet kitchen radios out there. I highly recommend it.

This clock radio/CD player is great. It is under the cabinets in my kitchen and is a great product. It is slim and doesn't take up much room. The sound quality is also very good. No complaints - glad I bought this.

I did a lot of research and finally decided on this unit. The installation was really easy, the three disc changer works flawlessly. I love the aux input. I play my ipod on it or connect it to my laptop and play either my itunes or stream from the internet.
Great sound quality for such a small unit. I love the remote with strong magnet for the fridge. I like being able to shuffle songs b/t all three discs.
The only downfall is the Aux cable. It is about 6 inches long so I had to go out and spend $25 for a longer one. If you plan on just using a small mp3 player then the 6 inch one is perfect.
I would definitely purchase again.
