I enjoy taking my movies everywhere I go. I can watch what I want to whenever I want to. Everyone that has to wait somewhere should have one. It plays picture CD's, music CD's, and all DVD's. Don't get an electronic picture frame when this will play movies and music and pictures for half the price...and it swivels and folds flat and comes with carrier and all the necessary cables.

Bought this product for a xmas gift for my daughter and after three short months of barely being used, we lost the volume, only getting sound when used with headphones. Within days of losing volume, the screen went black. Upon checking out unit, found that wires inside swival base were tangled aroung the base of screen inside unit, causing many wires to break. Im sure it has to do with the swival screen. So Im disappointed in this Coby product. Really thought it was a tough product.

My son uses this on a daily basis to watch movies in his room. He leaves it plugged in and charging. In the car, it works well also and if you get te carrying case, you can hang it from the back of the seat. The size is perfect for car-viewing distance. The rotating screen is nice and a spacesaver as you can fold it flat while viewing. The only issue is that the battery does not seem to hold a charge. We keep it charging with the car charger in the car. So unless you plan to use it where you can't keep it charged, it's very nice!

Plays well enough. It's annoying using headphones because of this weird feedback. It's very susceptible to static electricity.

This unit is very good value for money. The product itself has the tilt and swivel screen which protects the keys from the tiny digits of our inquisitive 14 month old. We bought this so that we could play his favourite shows when we went overseas. It kept him captivated on the plane when necessary!!
Pros:
It is fairly light weight and very portable.
Easy to operate and remote is a bonus. Works well across the room.
It is multi-region so I can play both PAL and NTSC format.
Cons:
Battery lasts only 3 hours. Would not be a problem in the car as it comes with an adaptor, but was not so great on an 8 hour flight. Good while it lasted though.
Screen does not resize automatically for none wide screen programming, instead it stretches the picture rather than play natural perspective.
Cannot find a spare battery (not a current item on the Coby website) despite many attempts at "Google-ing" the unit.
Overall, very good value for money and will last us longer than our planned trip.
