 Great for little kids September 3, 2008
Great mp3 player for younger kids(4-8 yrs). Mine have dropped it, sat on it, etc. Easy to use for grown-ups.

I bought this for my 4-1/2 yr old daughter because she kept bugging me to listen to my mp3 player. Well, I must say it is a life saver. It's easy to operate, she had it for only 5 minutes and said "Mommy, I can do it." I bought rechargeable batteries so that I wouldn't have to spend a fortune on batteries and those last a good 10-12 hours. I love the fact that it has the external speakers, but my daughter prefers the earbuds, it's makes her feel more grown up listening to her own music. Now I had to buy 2 more Shakers for her 9 and 10 yr old uncles because they thought it was so cool! Really I got a good deal, under $20 with shipping and handling, normally they sell at stores for $24-$35 each. You just can't go wrong for the price and I would say this is perfect for 4-12 year olds.

Worked great for one day and then broke. Great design and concept. Music can be played and heard on one headset or two or even out loud on a speaker! Wish it would have lasted longer.

We got this as a "new baby gift" for our 2 year old. She's really into listening to "her" music in the car so we thought it would be great! It's simple enough that she figured it out in minutes and loved having her favorite songs on it. I like the built in speaker that can't get too loud and drive me crazy. She hasn't played with it in a couple of weeks now, but she used to take it to bed with her to listen to her music as she fell asleep and in the car while I listened to my music.
Overall, it was a great purchase and wonderful for our little girl!!
