Creative Stone 2 GB August 22, 2008 I purchased this MP3 player for my brother's birthday. My brother needed a MP3 player that was simple to operate and could stand up to some abuse. While creative still has a long way to go in debugging their software, Every now and then my brother's creative freezes during recharge and he has to push the reset button. The battery life is as stated 10 hours, and the recharge time is usually one to one and a half hours on a USB1 port (it may charge faster on the USB2 port). I like how easy it was to set up and load the mp3 player. The size and square shape of the player make it pocket friendly. If you are looking for a simple affordable player that just plays music and audio tracks this player is a great choice.
Junk August 20, 2008 My wife bought this to our son in the USA on holidays. It stopped working after a week. The Creative support came with suggestions on how to fix it, but noting worked. Since we live in Europe, we could not get a replacement product. I will not recommend this product at all.

The Creative Zenstone is very small, does what it's supposed to do, has adequate earphones, and is extremely easy to load. I got mine on the clearance end table at W.Mart for about 1/2 retail. I've purchase 3 of them so far. I like wearing it while exercising at the club, It's a lot easier to move from aparatus to aparatus than with my Zune. It even came with a skin and clip! Highly recommended if you can get it at the right price.

Great MP3 Player July 29, 2008 I bought this because I am not a big fan of all of the iPods these days and I wanted a small MP3 player that I could use while running and exercising. I decided to go with the Creative Zen Stone and I have never regretted it. This MP3 player is simple and requires no software to transfer music to it. You just plug it in to your computer and drag and drop files. You can organize them into folders and then easily switch which folder you are listening to by pressing the switch on the top of the Zen Stone. You can also set it up to syncronize files if you prefer with a program such as Windows Media Player. The buttons are easy to press while running and the light on the Zen Stone tells you if it is on/off, playing/paused, and it tells you battery life status(impressive). I highly recommend this player for active use, and if you buy this you should definitely get a skin to go with it so you can clip it on your shorts. Even buying both of those things together, it is still cheaper than an iPod.
