This product is nice. The seller sent it out very fast. I'm looking to buy one for my husband.

This is my second Creative purchase and I should have known better. Bought a Zen mp3 player. After one month it froze up in the middle of a book tape. Finally went dead before it unfroze. Won't turn on again. Creative Zen's website and customer support is difficult to navigate. It kept telling me to plug in my player to reset but since it's dead, this did little good. I finally sent out an email, with fudged "required fields" because the info they need is only available on the unit which they assume is still turning on. This has been a very frustrating experience. The product and support is unreliable.

There are a few things I am not happy about.
- Radio has no record option (really? like I"m going to bootleg radio in this day & age?) - No resume for media played from the SD card (I had a Creative nano and it had resume for files dragged to the device, don't understand how they missed this) - Screen can be hard to read in the sun, should have included a white theme
But don't get me wrong, it's a good device. I use it daily and it is solid. Works great in Ubuntu linux with gnomad2.
loved it! October 31, 2008 I already have an Ipod, but found that public libraries have free audio books available for online downloads, but only in microsoft format. So, I bought this little beauty and it is easy to work, has great storage, good sound, and turns out to be just what I needed. As a bonus, the car charger I bought for my cell phone works for this too.
3 strikes and it's out October 31, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I ordered my first Zen and was super excited to receive it only a couple of days later. I opened it up and loved that it was really lightweight and easy to use. Extremely user-friendly and nice to look at as well. A few hours later, a thin green stripe appeared vertically on the screen and never went away. Something wrong with the pixels or something, I'm not really sure. I sent that player back and got a new one. Again, added all of my music (about 1500 songs) and it worked great for a while. I then turned it off overnight and when I turned it back on it got stuck on the Zen screen for over two minutes. It worked fine after that as long as I didn't turn it off for more than about 45 minutes. If it was off for that long, it would again take over two minutes to start back up again. The next day, I got the white screen of death. Oh joy. Sent that one back and received a third Zen. Again, loaded all of my music and it took over a minute and a half to turn on every time. I cannot wait that long (call me impatient but an MP3 player should not take that long to turn on) for my music to start playing. I sent that one back and will be purchasing an Apple iPod in the near future.
