 Great alternative to the iPod September 19, 2008
Quality product for half the price of similar type iPod. Great sound with included earbuds. As other reviews have said, don't buy it for the video player. It only plays the MPEG4 which is a format specifically designed for portable players. It would be nice to be able to delete songs and arrange files when not connected to a computer but that's not really a deal breaker for me.

I was at wallmart the other day looking at the Sony Mp3. 4 gig with video , fm tuner and same exact model BUT for $89.00 that's $10.00 cheaper then on here and its not even on sale there, Plus there is no ship & handling fee.
So Bottom line no bargin on here. I can save myself easyly $15.00 dollars buying it at walmart !!! Sony makes good product, Amazon.com surpose to have better prices not higher. whats up with these Mp3 models costing more than the regular price at walmat. Walmart is $10.00 cheaper not counting what are these sellers charging for s/h. This is not a bargin on here.!!!

I really have no complains about the product per se... I have a HUGE complain about the "we don't deliver APO" policy that I had to overcome to get this item. I thnk it is a BAD policy and you will lose a great deal of business from it!
I got the item shipped through a forwarder and got it anyway, but at a cost of time and money. I will NOT do this again, at least for items less than $300. It is NOT worth the hussle.
The MP3 was supposed to be a birthday present for my wife. I usualy get stuff from Amazon in a week, so I ordered with time to spare. I finaly got it about 4 weeks later! I had to get my wife something else for her birthday and I got the player thrown at me... tough item, it didn't break! In adition I didn't benefit from the "no charge for shipping" offer and I had to pay some $15 aditional for shipping.
I cannot understand WHY you have this policy. I am getting stuff from Amazon since I dont remember when, all shipped to APO, very fast!
If you had some problems with stuff shipped to some outpost in the middle of the dessert, you "should" ban this particular address and not all APO shipping!

This is a great little MP3. It's very small and lightweight but easy to use and read. The sound is very good, loud, clear, many features. It's easy to put music into. I would suggest it to a friend and if it weren't for all the great sales at the stores right now, I would considering buying it as a gift for someone else instead of buying more stuff for myself!
