 Very user friendly August 19, 2008
I really didn't want to get into the 'MP3' world, but because I am a very senior lady, who wants to keep up with the technology, I bought this pretty red 4gig, to experiment with. I was a bit disappointed because it was too easy. The music I copied from my CD's was downloaded onto it in a flash using RealPlayer. In adding add'l music at another time, I accidentally doubled the original songs. I called Sony, and I have to say, their tech associates are 'top shelf'. In a few moments, I was back on the right 'track'. I was told to go into my computer, then 'walkman'/music file, and then delete what I didn't want. I deleted the whole thing and reloaded everything in a moment. I was so fickled at that point that I loaded a few pictures onto it and pre-set my FM stations. Wow! This is a must if you want simplicity with great sound. Kudos to Sony & Amazon.com for the best price.
Superb Product August 12, 2008
I highly recommend this mp3 player. Previously, I have purchased two Sansa players. Both were junk. The last one lasted only a couple of months before locking up. Tech support was of no use. I switched to Sony. This Sony product is easy to use and has great battery life. I really like being able to set up different folders for podcasts I listen to. The video is great but could have clearer instructions that you really need to purchase Media Manager Pro from the Sony website to be able to convert video for the player. At $12.95, it was well worth it. Overall, a five star product.

This is a great MP3 player. The sound is great. I have been buying Sony products for years and was not disappointed. But good luck trying to find accessories for it. It does not fit the iPod cases and will not work with speakers for iPods. I finally found a neoprene case for it but had to look in several stores to find it.

This is a great option for an audio/video player.
It supports several formats and I love that fact that you can just drag and drop the files into the player with out the need of any proprietary software.
The only two things I wish it would have is a delete option so you need a computer to just delete a few tracks or videos, and that the album cover doesn't automatically loads from the media player when you sync the device.
But overall is a great product.
Great Buy July 4, 2008
The Sony MP3 player was a wonderful purchase. The price was right and I am so happy with all of the features. I found it very easy to use and so far no problems. I think the time between charges has been good. I would recommend this product to my friends. I mostly play music but I do have some pictures on the player and both have been fine uploading and viewing.
