Not so good November 11, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I have been a Nikon user for years. This camera was to replace my Coolpix 3700, which is about 5 years old. After snapping a few shots right out of the box and seeing them on my laptop I was a little weary about this. Then I compared it with my 3700 (3.2MP) vs the 10MP of this and there is noticeable difference; this one make worse pictures. The features are great, but overall quality of the construction is inferior and picture quality is inferior.
I have read a lot of reviews and based on that chose this camera over the Canon SD770. Beware, when you are reading reviews make sure it isn't from someone who has never owned a point-and-shoot, like most people on circuit city's reviews.
A HUGE disappointment November 3, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I am hugely disappointed with this camera. I was looking for a simple point & shoot that was small enough to go anywhere and as far as that goes it's great. However, most of my pictures are not sharp. Auto focus is ON and lately I've left it on full-time flash but my pics still turn out less than great. It's really annoying me because my older Canon digital camera (with way less megapixels) takes better photos. Overall, I would NOT buy this camera again...I like my pics sharp and in focus!
Terrible November 2, 2008 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I've been a frequent user of digital cameras, and this is by far the hardest to use. The interface for both taking pictures and accessing them on the computer is so awful that I've resigned myself to going back to my prior digital camera. They just don't get Design like other consumer electronics companies. I've had much more luck with Sony products.
Great Point and Shoot November 2, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this camera because my Sony Syber-shot was broken first the flash went and then I dropped it in the pool so it was time to get a new camera. I didn't want to spend that much so I went with the Nikon as they were running a rebate sale. So far I have had no issues but it's only been a month that I had the camera. Love the video portion, big screen and the closer view on regular photos. It's a great every day camera that you can leave in your pocketbook. I'm glad I purchased this camera.
A cam to take with you October 31, 2008 this is very nice cam. the pics are great and it's really easy to handle.
I liked it a lot. my other cam is a pro nikon and they have different applications but suits me fine.
