Cool, cool, cool product July 8, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
The iPod Touch is awesome. I got the 32GB version. So far it contains 1900+ songs, 100+ photos, and 30+ videos. All of that and I still have 20GB available!
My only gripes... <> While listening to music, the battery dies in less than 5 hours. <> Only videos from iTunes can be imported. <> The world doesn't have enough WiFi access points!
The maps feature would be way cooler if you could save searches or access a cache or history of searches. Without more WiFi hot spots, it's mostly just a feature that's fun to play with.
For an average user, the 8GB or 16GB model is probably more than enough. I had an Amazon.com gift card to defray the cost, so I went all out for the big boy.
It obviously depends upon your usage habits, but since I travel on a regular basis, I highly recommend getting chargers. I got a set at Walmart made by Griffin. For $50, it includes both a car charger and an AC (wall) charger.
Great User interface - easy to use July 6, 2008 Wonderful for traveling with 2 kids - for movies. It is great. The user interface is easy to use and very well done.
Product did not work July 6, 2008 4 out of 23 found this review helpful
Was very dissapointed with this product. Could not load the Itouch from Itunes, and every time I attempted the unit screen would go into a reboot cycle and the screen would flicker. The unit also got very hot.
For $450 you would think Apple would individually test these before shipment. I sent mine back immediately after purchase for a refund. I would not buy this product.
fun ipod July 5, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Hello, well I got this ipod for my birthday and it's totally awesome. A computer and music all in one. I take it everywhere I go, can plug it into my computer at work for music. Can read emails and surf the net where I go. Get directions, use a calendar for reminders, etc etc. It's really fantastic. I fit every picture and every song off my computer (7,000 pictures and 2,000 songs) and had plenty of room to spare. You should get one, it's a blast!
Best PMP on the market July 4, 2008 For its size and good looks, performance, and functionality, this is the best portable media player on the market. Sure, Archos has their grey bricks with everything and the kitchen sink, but you can't slip those things into a shirt pocket much less a front pants pocket. I am currently looking at selling mine for a 3G Iphone, but this has been a great thing to have the past 6 months. Every kid in college with access to campus wifi should have one of these. I only gave this 4 starts because the 32 GB version exists and thats the only PMP that deserves a perfect rating.
