Player October 25, 2008 I have one and bought two for gifts. The only thing I wish they include would be a sleve to protect the screen. Mine is pretty toasty at this point.
I would liked to have had some kind of manual however...

Positives: 1. Preception: Very sleek and perfect size. It's not heavy or too light to carry which is good. People think it's an ipod but it's not. The screen is big enough as ipod mini so you can view things easily. 2. Music: Easy download features. Plug into USB port, drag and drop files. Once again no iTune requirements. Almost all formats. 4. Radio: Not that bad actually, since I take the train, I can still receive clear channels. 5. Movie/Pic: Have not used these features. 6. Navigations: The scroll is fine. I like it just cause I have more control rather than touch.
Negatives: 1. The headphones are on the bottom, right next to the input for USB. Not very smart of them to do this. 2. The turn on/off is on the side and it isn't a buttom you hold, but a small handle. Feels fragile if I push too hard.
Overall, the product is awesome. I had a Muvo mp3 player, very small and awkward button controls with small screen. I never wanted a ipod due to iTune requirements. ScanDisk Fuze is up there with ipod in preception and usage. Not only that, it is far less expensive and does just as much.
Def would buy as a gift as it seems the price for this is going down. So you will not get a better deal.
very good product so far October 24, 2008 I listen to podcast mostly. This has been great so far. Easy to use and operate. The earphones are comfortable with good sound. I would recommend this to anyone. Shipping of this was great with no problems.
easy to use October 16, 2008 this MP4 player is amazing, full of great features, yet very small and has good batter life. The features I chose it over other models are: (1)its ability to expand the memory with a micro-SD/SDHC card, and (2) the bit larger (1.9 inch) bright LCD screen. highly recommended.
good for basic needs September 28, 2008 I have always liked Sansa. I had an e250 for about two years. Then, I gave it to a friend who is enjoying it. The fuze seems to be as enjoyable. Though, like with the e250, it seems impossible to put anything but home videos on it (without some wrangling). As well, the earphones are falling apart. So, I still enjoy this little machine...but it has its problems. I've tried other machines...and the Sansa is only slightly better than most.
