I bought this for my husband who just wanted something to listen to his cassette tapes. But, it has AM, FM, TV, and a weather band! The batteries last a long time too. The price is less than some of the others that only have AM, FM, and cassette. I would highly recommend this one.

What can I say, this unit does everthing perfectly and has crystal clear reception. Will last a long time providing you don't abuse it. The name speaks for itself. So easy to use it's elementary.

The sound was great but if you drop it that is the end of the walkman.

I purchased this item after reading the reviews on it. It is all that it claims to be, and only uses one battery instead of two. I love it! It is small and compact, fits in my pocket. Great sound, easy to use, has Mega base. Haven't had a chance to use the TV setting yet as I live too far away from a station. I would recommend this item to anyone who likes to listen to books on tape. Longer life on one battery than others using two.

The player does what I wanted it to do. I am a person that enjoys listening to books on tape while I garden, clean house or knit.
