Bought this for my elderly mom who needed a way to listen to music that was simple to operate. With limited eyesight, she needed something not too complicated. This turned out to be just the ticket.

Works well and is reliable. The headphones are just okay. The bass boost makes music better. Works for a long time on one set of batteries.

I like to listen to recorded books while gardening or doing housework, and prefer a tape player. I find that CD's skip when jostled - tapes are more reliable in this situation. It is difficult to find an old-fashioned Walkman that plays cassette tapes - so I was delighted to find this one. It works fine, and I'm back in business. Auto reverse would have been nice, but that's the only thing missing.
