This is an excellent player that comes with all the fragility of its kin,pricey or not.The ergonomics are poor(small buttons, unreadable counter screen, battery compartment hidden and tough to get at) but it is a great sounding sony product and quite attractive and comes in various colors.Any player you buy in this format is going to have the same faults , except this one is the least expensive i have seen.I have had it for 4 weeks and based on moderate playing time and handling,it is an excellent purchase.Exception;the earbuds are worse than most and a total throw away in favor of the koss porta pros.(Four stars instead of five.)

What do you need to know. IT works great. I run with it and it never skips. IT shows when to battery is going low so you can change it before it runs out. When you turn it off then back on, it goes back to where you left off. I love it.

Mixed reviews from people on this. I think it's fine. I got 2 as gifts for friends in Africa and were there when they arrived. They work great and both people are very satisfied with them. For the money, they can't be beat!

Sony Disc player does not work. It won't recognize disc in player.
Currently trying to get it serviced under warranty.

I got this CD player because I thought sony was a good company, plus I liked the look of it. But after just 5 months after purchase, and not even using it that often, it has already broken. I paid about 40 dollars for this CD player, so I am very disappointed. If I were you, I would buy a different CD player.
