Emerson JUMBO Display Clock Radio December 31, 2007 Great product. Love the JUMBO review and that the day of the week is in green lights. Love this product. Thanks
poor radio December 3, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I currently have an old Emerson Research that does not adjust to daylight saving time since Congress changed the dates and I was looking to upgrade. I returned this item because I could not tune the radio station that I have listened to for over 25 years. I will stick with the older model that allows me to hear the radio station that I like.
I would have rated the item zero stars but the web site would not allow me to do that.
good value December 2, 2007 This seems like a good value so far. I haven't used the alarms yet, but the radio sounds adequate (for talk radio) and the two-setting switch for dimming works fine. I find the lower setting too low for our daylit room, but the bright setting works fine all the time for me. The buttons seem sturdy enough. It is slightly cumbersome to do the settings, but heck I don't change them very often so it's not a big deal at all. Definitely easy to read display and a good compact product.
Great for the Price October 14, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I didn't even realize this is an "atomic" clock, until it set itself almost immediately when I plugged it in. Got this for my son, so can go to sleep to music. He had no problem learning the controls as a 10 year old. Nice big number display as well.

This seems to be a good product with one exception. Its sets the time four minutes slow. You can adjust the time to the correct time so what good is the built in timer?
