I'm a little frustrated with this product. I love it's features, and it's sound is great.However, it's apparently sharing the same frequency as our flat screen tv remote. Every time we change the channel via the remote it turns our alarms on or off. It means that despite purposely buying a dual alarm clock for simplicity we have to double check both alarm settings every night to make sure it didn't toggle to "off" from using the tv remote. It kind of sucks and makes the feature we bought it for moot.

The Ihome is a good alarm, radio and ipod player. However the display is not like in the picture. The Ihome I got has the same display as the old one and one of the reasons I bought this one is becuase of the high contrast display. I was a little disapointed...
Also the remote is not that great, you really have to point straight to the IHome to make it work, I guess that's the most you can get out of such a little remote. Other than that I am happy with the product.

I tried 2 different ipod alarm clocks that were cheaper before I bought this one on amazon. It's worth the extra money. The dimmer is a plus; it has 7 different dim settings including off. The AM receiver looks a little awkward, but if you don't listen to AM radio you don't have to hook it up. The speakers sound great and when the alarm goes off it doesn't go from super quiet to insanely loud in 15 seconds like the other ones I had. It gradually gets louder, but never so loud that it's unbearable. You can set it for a five day alarm, which is nice for work vs. weekends. This was a wise purchase and worth the money.

I LOVE IT September 18, 2008
I just received this product today and I love it. I like that you can completely control it with the remove. You can hit the snooze button with the remote. It controls the iPod with the remote. My boyfriend thought the speakers were better than he expected. He is a Bose fan and very much into sound systems. The radio gets great reception. And did I mention the functionality of the remote? It also looks great with my black iPod.
