Good product, bad location April 29, 2008 The transmitter itself works awesome, Its nice to have all my albums on my Zune available to me on the go. The transmitter itself has no problems working, the only problem I have found is that there are TOO MANY RADIO STATIONS IN PHOENIX. I have only been able to find about 3 reliable frequencies and I have to adjust it based on which part of the city I'm in. Works well in a place where there are fewer signals going through the air. Overall its a good product, just if you live in a crowded city beware that finding a frequency to use might be a challenge.
Which Zune is it for? April 23, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I wish someone would specify which models these products are designed for. I have a Zune V2. This is definetely not for me. Im sure it works well. I dont know because I sold it to a friend with an original Zune.
Check it out closely. April 6, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I ordered this to go with the 80GB Zune that I got my kids for Christmas. Looks neat, but the funny thing is that it WILL NOT WORK WITH THE 80GB ZUNE. I had to return it.
Doesn't work anymore April 4, 2008 I was happy with the products at first, but then the plug kept falling apart. Now it just stopped working completely. Not worth the money for it only to work a few months.
This helped, use earphones as signal inhancer. Big Change. March 9, 2008 At first the FM Tuner was bad I figured all was lost, but I noticed every time I touched the Zune I got better reception on the radio. At first I thought oh good I'll just hold the zune as I drive but then an insight. Why not use the ear buds to see if they will increase the signal and "Tada" better fm reception.
IN short plug in your ear buds or ear phones and see if it helps. It changed mine from very bad to good. Not CD quality but what I originally hoped they would sound sound like.
Since the zune has an fm tunner in it, next I took out a wrench and unhook the antenna from the car since it will not lower. I think this will be a winning combo.
MP3s and FM though the Zune.
