Great case for the money. November 11, 2008 I was looking for an inexpensive, functional, and reasonably attractive case for my new iPhone 3G. This case fit the bill on all of those fronts. I am very satisfied with my purchase. I believe that it looks and performs as well as some of the $30 cases on the market for a fraction of that cost.
Great case! November 10, 2008 This case works great for what I needed it for. It does make the phone a bit larger, but I'm a very tall guy with big hands, so it doesn't ever bother me when I'm pulling it from my pocket or carrying it around. It gives a quality durable shell so that I don't mess up my 400 dollar investment. More than worth the >5 Dollars.
A good case that works November 4, 2008 This is an excellent case for 3G apple iphone. Its a great bargain compare to the one you buy it from the iphone store. It fits like a winner, and protects phone from the scratches and stuff. The slight problem with the cover is the system that locks front and back panel. The locks based on a 2 plastic clips that looks like it will break anytime. But the cover is so cheap, even it breaks I will just buy another one :) This is not a cover if you are going to remove iphone too often for cleaning etc..
Good, not Great October 25, 2008 This case is pretty decent, and like others have said, pretty damn good for the price. Because the case is rubberize you get a pretty good grip on it , and yet moves freely in your pocket. However, some stuff like dust does stick to it a bit. It also snaps on tightly so the phone won't move around in the case. A big plus is that the case offers the most surface area protection than another case I've tried (by JAVOedge, see my review for that). It doesn't cover the screen so a screen protector is recommended. A couple of quibbles: first, the case isn't made to the highest quality so the connection of the front and black plates is not flush and smooth. The other is just a minor design flaw, with the hole/opening of the top speaker being little big and located awkwardly on the upper left corner. Overall though, this is a solid case and I'll be using this alot. Just don't expect it to save your iphone if you drop it, but it will protect the iphone from scratches and the like.
Pleasantly Surprised October 18, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Shopping for an Iphone case is difficult. You go online and there is no consensus as to which is the best case. People who've tried 10-15 different cases all come to different conclusions.
I bought this case because it was the most popular one on Amazon.com, and I figured Amazon had just about every type listed. I also figured at $3.50 if I didn't like it I would be a lot less disappointed than if I bought a $30 one.
When looking for a case it has to be thick enough to protect your phone from a fall, but not so thick it makes your phone bulky. It has to have some grip, but not so much it attracts lint and sticks to your pocket. It can't cover the sensors or ports. And it has to look good. Going through the list, it meets all these criteria. It snapped together snug as a glove and is the same quality as cases costing 10 times more. I won't be buying another case any time soon.
The only gripe I'd have is it seemed a little thin, and I'm not sure how hard of a fall it would survive, but then I've seen some review of it here saying it wasn't thin enough and made their phone a little bulky. So to each their own I guess. The phone with this case is a lot less bulky than the brick-like Treo 650 it is replacing (without a case). I suppose women probably want their phones as thin as possible while men, especially men who work with their hands, probably want a little more protection.
