Portable system that packs a punch! March 28, 2008 This portable system is a little heavier than I initially anticipated, but not so bad I can't get it everywhere I need to go. I am a fitness instructor that teaches at several different locations with no sound equipment at all. This system is perfect for the size classes I currently teach and when I open my studio it will be more than enough to be set up in a more permanent fashion. The special Voice override feature is nice for presentations where you need the music to turn down while you are speaking, but I can't use this feature in a fitness class. I can plug in my microphone, iPod, and a CD player and still have room for more if I wanted. Very happy with this purchase and a great deal!
Excellent Portable System January 12, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is an excellent product for smaller venues ( up to about 150 people) Sound is clear, well constructed, plenty of inputs for my purposes. The only negative for me is that all the cables and microphone do not fit into the unit for portability. There is a small cubby on the unit that will fit the power cord and maybe 1 speaker cord.
Portable, loud, and GREAT sound December 3, 2007 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I used to use a PD-250 but never turned it up even half way, and it was 55 lbs. compared to the PD-150's 26 lbs. Now I don't have to lean to the left when carrying it with my right hand. The controls are very easy to use, and I really like the VIP (voice input priority) that turns the music down when you speak into the mike. For the $410 I payed for it brand new, its a steal.
