I use this boombox in my classroom for my Pre-K child to listen to stories on tape/CD. The sound quality is awesome and very easy to use - just don't forget to switch between CD and tape! I did and thought it was broken - duh! I also bought on Amazon a spliter for the headphones so 2 children can listen at one time.

The boombox is okay but I'm afraid it'll break in no time if I'm not careful with the CD component. The part that comes down on the CD seems loose and have to be very careful when playing the discs.
F.Y.I. You can't play recordable discs or bootlegs on there. So that sucked

I originally shopped by price, but found they all had lousy recommendations. So I then went to the highest rated maker, found this CD player and it had no negative reports. I bought it and when I saw the look on my ladies face, I knew I had made the best buy. Sony cost more, but you get so much more and so did I this evening. I recommend this purchase.

The sound of this boombox is good, but the cover of the CD player is plastic and seems cheap. I fear that it won't be long before the cover breaks.
