 Great radar detector and seller January 1, 2008
I did my homework on this radar detector and it has performed to my expectations. Great features and filters out most of the false alarms too. Came with a nice padded case too. Equally impressed with the seller - Photoland NY. I received a nice letter from them with the purchase too stating 100% satisfaction guarantee. I will look for them again when purchasing electronics. First day out. Brand new car, brand new Beltronics RX65. Got popped by radar
on the Taconic state parkway. I came over a ridge, heading north and the trooper was sitting in the valley between the north and south bound lanes facing me.
As soon as I got a visual on him I knew he got me. Not even a tiny peep out of the RX65. He threw it into drive and hightailed it after me. The detector never made a sound. I could not believe my eyes or ears and it cost me $145 to Fishkill township. Really disappointed. Bottom line is don't trust these things to save you.

I really like the new features on this model as compared to the one I purchased just two years ago. I have found Beltronics to be very reliable technology.

Product as described. Poor communication from seller. Got only digit numbers series. Didn't mention anything about shipping carrier. eg. Fedex or UPS or USPS. Item arrived well.

This detector is the second of the same model I've bought. It works better than any other detector I've owned. There are few false alarms and good early warnings.
