A Good Buy October 1, 2007 I have had this product for a month now and have used it a lot. Still on the same AA battery! I have tried all sorts of CD's with it and all play fine. (CD-R, CD-RW, MP3...) The tuner seems to be just fine. I get the local TV stations, AM, FM stations just fine. The weather channel I think depends on where you live. It doesn't come through for me unless I'm outdoors. Then just barely. I would suggest adding a case for this product. It has a remote that you can clip to your belt buckle that I find very handy. You need to wear cargo pants though to store the CD player while just using the remote. (The remote keeps you from having to pull out the CD player every time you want to adjust the volume, change stations, change input...TV, AM, FM, Weather.) It's a handy device, not just a gimmick!
review September 28, 2007 It's a nice cd player but the control button is not at all easy to use. It is far to fussy about how you press the button (S) in order to advance or repeat tracks.

Initially, I was thrilled. It worked great for the first week. Since then it has developed a high frequency noise that doesn't seem to go away. It has trouble tracking and makes a horrid noise every few seconds. It's going back to the store today.....
Excellent for the price September 1, 2007 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
It's not a high-end ($100+) iRiver, but for the ~$35, it's excellent. Long battery life, decent sound, nice little remote.

right out the box this one is does'nt work good, it won;t load any burned cd's and it makes static noises and the display fizzes out.. kinda distorts. so i am working on a return now
however i am tempted to try the same model just a different unit because i am very impressed with the sound quality, there are so many tin can sounding cheap walkmns out there and this one really has a deep clean sound.. also the tuner gets my stations in clear... my last cd walkman had the audacity to not even be able to pick up local stations clean.
anyone else have trouble egtting burned cd's to play ??? or was this just my unit
