Absolutely love this CD/AM-FM Radio/TV tuner. It is sleek, simple to use and clear as a bell. I use it while carpooling to meditate and there is no shake or interuption. I love it! Great deal for the $$ spent.

The main negative issue was volume control. These itty-bitty buttons that access the control took 10 or more seconds to activate the control panel items. The volume on radio was not equal to the CD volume so switching playback from CD to radio was a lesson in frustration to a point I thought the product was defective and returned it to Amazon for an exchange. The new one came and it was the same design flaw. I returned it and bought a similar product at Walgreens for one-third the price. The rating is a zero star. Amazon's customer support was so superb, it was almost worth the trouble.

I really wanted this for the tv tuner because I like to listen to tv where I work. Unfortunately I don't think the tuner is so hot. The cd player is fine-good sound etc. But the tv tuner is very hard to tune in and I was disappointed that something like this didn't come with an adapter for saving battery power. The fm reception is also not so hot-very hard to tune in fm stations and nothing at all on am. Sorry but this one's just so-so for me.

I'm very sorry to report that this CD player didn't work. I was surprised since I've always like Sony products.
First of all whenever I put a CD or an MP3 disc into the player it made a chirping sound regularly and skipped pretty consistently. I tried several discs with the same problem. I consulted the Sony website and worked through the troubleshooting suggestions and it still did not work. I bought it at Target for $49.99 and returned it today for a full refund.
I didn't give it one star because when it did play it sounded great. The earbuds were comfortable and stayed in my ears. The radio sounded very good too. The TV sound was terrible and was only able to pick up channel 5 in Los Angeles.
The other thing was the controls. The buttons were too small and very difficult to work. It was not intuitive at all! If this player had worked I probably would have lived with it. But since the one I bought was defective, I will not buy another one. I'm looking for another player with more simplified control buttons.
Sony has other units out there. I would recommend that you skip this one and get something else.
