Clock ok, projections is poor October 22, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The clock is ok, but the projection is poor. The light for the projection is very faint. The time for the projection has to be set separately from the main clock.
Unfortunately a 'no go' October 5, 2007 I used this projector clock to try to project 3 feet in a mostly dark room. It attempted to project a 4 inch image onto a white paper on my wall. Unfortunately, the lines were too thin and too faded to see the image from more than 4 feet away. It did not work for my purpose.
disappointing September 25, 2007 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought the clock excited about the new features it contained. I thought it can be used internationally as I travel alot having a voltage of 220...it came with v110, when I used outside the US, I had to buy a transformer and somehow the problem persists. The digital clock (not the projected one) keeps forwarding its time in a really fast pace...not by minutes I wish, but it forwards 20 mintues in the passing of two hours!!! I cant seem to solve this problem...and I actually use the projector time at night but cover the digital one in tape so I wont wake up late...basically it sucks not even using the alarm because of this problem. Real bulky too, did not expect it to be that big.
A little disappointment September 8, 2007 The projector isn't very practical in use. Because, the projection has only one degree of freedom: forward and backward; no rotations to left and right. I would like to be able to project on the wall on my right or left when the display is oriented towards me. Also, you have to adjust each clock separately. The other thing, it doesn't work from battery! Battery is used just for not loosing current adjustment in case of power outage. If you have no electricity, you will see nothing at all on the display! And the alarm buzz is really annoying, it sounds like a fire alarm. I always use the radio as the alarm sound. It works quite good though.
But despite its design problems, I love this clock; it looks nice and it is really easy to see the projection on the wall when it is dark. If you use glasses like me, and have problems to see the clock at night, it is just perfect! But keep in mind that in daylight the projection is not visible (which is totally normal). I could give 5 stars if the projection could rotate right and left, and if it could work with battery.
