Good product November 10, 2006 I like the player but the buttons are a bit small. We use it mostly for an auto CD player with an adapter as the van does not have one and driving long distances can be a bit tough without some good music and books to listen to. It plays music that my older player would not. THe pause button holds the place for a lot longer than previous players that I have used. I recommend this CD player. I did not use the ear buds.
Good Product for Kids.................. November 8, 2006 It is a good product for its sony. Nice clarity in the head phones and easy to use. But those addicted to this.....better buy a set of rechargable batteries. What more...its plays CD and MP3.
Works like a charm November 5, 2006 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I've used this player every day for three months, and it works like a charm. In fact, I use it so much, it has become more economical for me to invest in rechargable batteries. The sound reproduction is excellent, and the included earhook-earbud headphones are comfortable for all day wear, and don't prevent hearing of ambient sounds and conversation. The mp3 capability is what I especially like, since I can record several small books, or a single large one, on a single disk. A really nice feature: It restarts exactly where last stopped, EVEN AFTER BATTERY CHANGE. There is a significant delay at startup while it reads the files, but subsequent navigation between files is nearly instantaneous. I have accidentally dropped it several times on a hard floor (once on asphalt from pickup truck seat) and it just bounces and rolls. I love it!
works well for the price November 3, 2006 for the price this cd player definitly works well. however, it does tend to skip fairly easily if you go over bumps while in the car.
Worked for a week, then died! November 3, 2006 After I bought this player, I put it on the shelf for a month or so, then opened it up. Bad idea. It died completely after only a week's use and, of course, Amazon's return period had gone by. The Sony name is no longer a guarantee of quality - they should change the model line from Walkman to Walk, man. Better yet, Run, man --- away from this product.
