 Look no further for a headset November 30, 2008
I just received my headset in the mail last week, and so far this is the best performing headset that I have ever had or seen. The product is easy to use, easy to set up, and most importantly it sounds great! I haven't even had to adjust the volume yet, and all of the people that I have called so far couldn't even tell that I was on a headset! I have used this headset in several different environments and not once has someone asked me if I was on a headset. One friend did say that he could hear the radio in my truck (which was not loud) but he could hear me loud and clear. The 925 is very lightweight and stays put in the ear. One other thing...the battery life seems to be pretty good as well...I haven't had to recharge it yet!
One other thing about this product that seems to be pretty cool is that the case actually doubles as a charger. You can charge the case so that if you are out and your 925 is running low on juice, just pop it into a fully chardged case, and in a while you have a fully charged headset! NICE! So far so good, Plantronics!
Best Bluetooth I've Used November 28, 2008
I have tried several others, including other Plantronics. This one is the most comfortable and has great sound. I was not sure it would stay in my ear and I thought it might be "buggy." However, it is very light weight and is not bothersome at all. Amazon has the best price I was able to find on this one also. I wear glasses with very thin temples and the over the ear type did not work well with my glasses. I was thrilled to find an extremely comfortable "in ear" Bluetooth that had great sound. The charger and case all in one is great idea.
Best sound and volume out there November 27, 2008
This is the best headset I've tried so far with my Blackberry. Its sound quality is awesome. I'm often on telecons which are notorious for variable volume and voice quality. While on other headsets where I've strained to hear some of the folks talking, this headset picks it all up while not also amplifying the car noise. On my Motorola, I'd have to turn the volume up to high to catch 50% of the conversation- with this one I keep it on low and only rarely do I need to bump it up to medium or high volume to hear what's being said. I also found the earpiece to be much more comfortable that full earbuds. The charger/carrying case is very nice looking and keeps it charged. It has the additional feature of being big enough to not lose easily (which is what happened to my last headset), while small enough to fit in a purse. The only con is that it is sometimes difficult to get the headset onto the little prong in the charger. Overall, great looking and awesome performance.
Excellent Earpiece November 26, 2008
Before I bought the Plantronics Discovery 925, I poured over reviews for many Bluetooth earpieces. I had been wanting one for quite some time, but usually I would find one I liked the look of and it would get awful reviews.
I ran across the 925 and I loved the look and the reviews were pretty good, so I thought I would give it a try. I have not been disappointed at all. It paired with my Samsung Instinct quickly and easily and the sound quality is excellent and the people I have talked to with it have said I was coming through loud and clear. This earpiece is also quite comfortable even when I've worn it for 2 or 3 hours while doing other stuff.
In short, I love this earpiece. I'm glad I held out on getting one until this one came out.
Great for Biking and Race Walking November 25, 2008

I have the most problematic ears to fit! Even if earbuds or an earpiece fit, ultimately they hurt my ears in a short time. If anyone out there has ear pain from the Plantronics earpiece, they are likely placing them incorrectly. You have to have patience and turn them around inside your ear and don't ram them into your ears. They belong at the entrance of the ear canal.
The Plantronics Discovery 925 ($129 at Sprint) is pretty near perfect. Nobody on the other end had any idea that I was using a bluetooth headset. I love it while driving because the voice comes in as clear as a bell. I used the headset with my husband (he has a Plantronics and paid retail for his at Sprint) while biking together and the connection was great even during the windy day we had on Sunday in South Florida. We rode and didn't have to be in eye contact as usual or else we "lose" each other. We rode at our own pace and were able to communicate the entire time!
I used it while walking at a brisk pace, utilizing voice activated dialing today and kept the headset on the rest of the day without feeling any discomfort.
Cons: Its not so easy to know when its actually open and connected but I guess I'll get used to it after I practice more.
It looks more fragile than it really is, but once it's in the case its great. The Plantronics case now has a little lever that you press and the earpiece pops right of the case so you don't have to pull it out diagonally or struggle in order not to break the fragile connector.
